I don't understand all the hate for Clinton. She is still the better alternative than the Repubs. I like Sanders, but I feel he is over-promising and will under-deliver, more so than most candidates running for office
I don't know where my dislike for Clinton started. I voted for her husband twice and don't remember disliking her at that time. Now I think she is firmly a status quo big business republican who has lied about her ties to big banks and big oil. Bernie and Trump are honest. Trump is an honest asshole and Bernie is continuing to fight for what he has always fought for, openly and honestly. I also think Clinton will get shit all over in the general, that is if she isn't indicted before then.
I dont know why Clinton is getting a bad rap. She's not perfect, but no one is. And she is definitely better than most candidates we have had in awhile. She may be part of the old gaurd, but she did start the fight for healthcare in the 90s and supported most of obama's plans. Sure she wasn't the best Sec of State, but she didnt do a horrible job. Bush messed up more than she did and they reelected the asshat.
I love it when Clinton supporters claim astonishment at why Hillary gets a bad rap. It's as if they have forgotten the last 25 years. Mediocre senator, ineffective and sometimes disastrous secretary of state, and the ultimate "I will say whatever I need to say to gain a political advantage". This weekend's convention was an embarrassment. Bernie supporters were picking fights with Clinton supporters. Mark Manendo, a Bernie supporter was saying "f" you to female Clinton supporters. The civil Bernie supporters were embarrassed by the obnoxious Bernie supporters. Two people had medical episodes. It was not a proud moment for the Bernie campaign, and that is not everything that went on.
