Jury trials? That's laughable. Is it only criminal or civil too?

Supposedly there is a criminal trial this week. I know they are trying to do some Short Trials in October. Under very cumbersome circumstances and I don't know how many prospective jurors are going to show up.

Part of my practice is criminal cases. I'm in in-person court for those several times a week.

"Prospective jurors who are experiencing symptoms, feeling sick or have been exposed to COVID-19 will be advised to not report for jury duty, officials said."
That's a Get-Out-of-Jury-Duty-Free card right there. The judges are going to wish they could go Scotti on prospective jurors.

Scotti only throws the book backwards. To really express oneself you have to go SuperScotti ™.

He is better than the other clowns at the RJC. He never did anything to me.

Guy is a B+ Judge. Knows the law. Let’s the parties try their case, enforces the rules and is fair. Clearly he lost his temper and he had a lot going on with his father dying. He is a bit of an odd duck, but he is at least fair and highly intelligent.

I'll take Scotti any day over most of the judges at the RJC. Solid legal mind. Issues rulings based on the law. Gives due consideration to the issues and arguments. And during that time when he lost his temper he had even more personal/private concerns than just his father dying, and yet he continued to try to serve the public. He absolutely has my vote.
