Remember jaws law or whatever Wiese did before the bench.
Well it was Williams & Wiese around that same time. Jerry took the bench and his partner started bringing frivolous trash actions.
I wouldn’t call them frivolous. I would call them very much copy and paste actions, though.
I would say frivolous when you look at all of the show cause hearings that litter the dockets with these Republic Services cases. Plus they are worse that Leach Johnson in turning a $600 lien into a $14,000 debt.
Classic debt collection nonsense.
When I see someone challenge one of our truly good judges, I just assume that their candidacy is about fulfilling personal ambition more than public service. Of all the judges we have, Jerry Wiese is one that we need to keep on the bench. IF this guy were to somehow win, the absolute best we could hope for is to break even, but likely it would be a step down.
ummmm, not to be too pedantic, but isn’t everyone running for elected office (judicial or otherwise) just trying to fulfill some personal ambition?
